Simple yet Classy- Weekend Outfit

Hi guys!

Hope you all are having a great weekend? What did you do by the way? Relax and chill with Netflix shows on your couch or dressed up and went out? I am more of a Netflix person but with being a blogger and working full time, my Saturdays mostly get spent on taking pictures and editing them. And Sunday is for house errands.

Although, since I am in India right now, I am not actively doing these things, but I am trying to get back into posting on my blog after a 2-month hiatus 🙂 Also, I came to Kolkata yesterday and oh the humidity, SMH! But apart from soaring temperatures, I am thoroughly enjoying my stay here and being fed a lot of good food! So, you know if I look a little rounder in a few months, just know what happened there, HAHA!

Anyways, I have been wanting to get my hands on these Gucci belts for so long but I wasn’t sure if it was always going to be in trend as it has been for some time now. But I don’t see it going away and so I decided to go for it. Now that was the easy part. Getting it though, was a little bit of wait. I went in the store and asked if they had their logo belt in black and the lady said that it was SOLD OUT GLOBALLY! And the wait time was at least 6 months. I thought maybe I’ll look for the brow one or the blush one, but nope- not available anywhere- saks, neiman marcus, bloomingdales, Nordstrom and a lot many other stores, I checked them all and it was not available anywhere. I figured I would wait, and maybe look for it after a few months when it might be available.

After a month or so, we were doing some shopping at the mall and when we crossed Gucci store, my husband said that maybe I should go and look and see if they had it available. Pretty sure that was my lucky day, they had it in the store in black with the logo in vintage gold. Just what I wanted! Only demerit was that it was 2 sizes larger (size 90) than what I needed, which was size 80. So, their holes were not where I needed, but I knew I needed it, so I got it! 😀 Then I went to one of those stores where they repair leather bags and shoes. I asked them to do 4 more holes for my sizing and it was perfect for me!

And I am so happy with it! I wear it with almost every outfit and I love that it adds something to any outfit, however simple it is. For example, take this outfit, a simple urban outfitters T-shirt with these extremely comfortable denims jeans and these valentine dupes- studded heels. And let me tell you, I love everything in this outfit. I am a big fan of simple t-shirts. They are so comfortable, easy to wear and style. Urban Outfitters has some really good classic, simple t-shirts and before I was coming to India, I got some 5-6 really nice cotton shirts. Also, these jeans have been my go-to this year. They are so comfortable, no joke! Yes, they are skinny, but still breathable and that is I think where the difference is when you buy a good quality denim. These are from Nordstrom- Good American brand.

These heels are such a pretty event footwear and for such a good price! These are from Sole Society and I am pretty sure I am one of the last person to know about these!

I am in complete love with these type of outfits where you do not have to put any effort but it looks like you took some time to get ready, because we are always pressed for time 😀

Have a great week ahead!

Love, XO
