It has been ages since my last post. I tried to keep up with the blog and all the social channels, but it just got so busy and with the time difference and me still working on US times, I was working until 5:00 AM and slept a lot during the whole day. I hated not being able to do it, not being able to connect with you guys. But I got back this week and I totally plan on being a lot more regular now.
Okay, so to start off, let me tell you- the weather here is heaven! Summers in India is bad, it is just bad! Humidity in 80s and 90s, temperatures in 90s and above 100s. I wanted to go out so much sometimes, but I just couldn’t! And then I was there and my husband was here. It was just not fun!
Although the 2 months that I was there were not that fun, I did get a chance to visit all the 4 metropolitan cities in India 🙂 Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata. My parents live in Delhi and I did my graduation from there too, so I have lived in Delhi for a good amount of time and I love Delhi. My in-laws live in Kolkata and I have been going there almost every year now for the last 4 years and it is always nice to be at home and hang out with them. They are always fun to hang out with and I absolutely love being there. But other than these 2 cities, I am not really a fan of Bangalore or Mumbai.
Anyway, I am sure you are not interested in listening to me talk about what cities I like or I don’t. But seriously, I am so glad to be back. My husband and I are planning on going to Charleston the next weekend. I have always wanted to go and have read that it is one of the most beautiful cities in the US. So, I am very excited!!
It is a 2-day trip so I will start packing probably on Thursday but I am pretty sure that I am going to bring this Madewell jeans with me. These are just so comfortable and look so good with any outfit. Also, if you want to make it look a little more dressed up, just pair them with heels and you are good to go. These are aptly named “summer jean”!
I am also a HUGE fan of FRIENDS TV show and when I saw this t-shirt with the logo, I just had to get it. It is such a fun top and since it is pure cotton, it is perfect for summer!
I am going to be a lot more regular and consistent here, now that I am back. I still have to go back again in July for a few weeks, but that won’t be this long and hopefully work won’t get this crazy as it was this time! I will see you guys soon! 🙂
