Happy New Year guys!!! I cannot believe it is 2019 already! This year is also our 5thwedding anniversary, so I am really looking forward to that in February! And just like most of the people do, I am planning on setting up some goals for myself and work hard to achieve them. I am also working on getting into my best shape this year and I will be doing a blog post on how I plan on achieving that as well.
Last year was a lot of travelling for me, for my work and visas, but I am plan on being more regular on my blog, like I was before all the craziness. So, be on the lookout for a lot of new content on the blog as well as on my YouTube. Hopefully, this year I will put more videos than I have on my channel currently 😀
This is also my first year in my 30s, so I am officially in my “dirty thirties” 😀 And as for the new year celebrations, we had a very nice and calm date night at home with food and drinks and we also got to see some of the fireworks in the city from our patio. So hey, didn’t need to be out in the city in the rain! 😀
But we did go out for new year brunch today since the weather was much better than yesterday! I was also dying to wear this skirt again, since I wore them last weekend, that I got from asos last week. Red with polka dots- what could ever go wrong here, right?! It also has ruffles on the bottom, is high-rise, has a tie detail on the side and is has a high-low silhouette, which really flatters my body type, instead of it just being uniform all around (if that makes sense :)) The fabric creases easily though, so you will need to keep it nicely or iron it right before you wear it. Just keep that in mind if you go for this.
Rest, I just paired it with my red winter essentials, a black mock neck top and a black heel bootie. I love how this outfit came out and I will be wearing this a lot probably, maybe with sneakers, although I might end up looking like a midget 😀
