Dermstore Must-Haves

Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing well and staying sane. We have officially finished a year in lockdowns and quarantine and how crazy is that?! This year has also given me the chance to actually focus more on my skin rather than makeup. Do not get me wrong, I still love my makeup. But I would love to have better skin and be more comfortable without using any makeup.

I have also gotten very obsessed with the Dermstore website. They have so many great brads that I have absolutely fallen in love with. So, today I am going to do a roundup of my 5 favorite products from this website. These are the products that I have either already repurchased or planning on repurchasing once I run out of that.

  1. Skinceuticals CE Ferulic SerumVitamin C is something almost everyone raves about and there are so many options in the market that it is very easy to get overwhelmed. I tried a few different ones before I took the plunge and splurged on this particular vitamin C. I have also read a lot of articles and listened to skincare experts talking about this product and how much they love it. Honestly, I love it too. I like how it’s thin and spreads nicely on my skin in the mornings.
  2. Skinceuticals Blemish + Age defenseThis is such a subtle lifesaver. Most of the products focused on blemishes and acne tingle on your sin but this one doesn’t, which I appreciate. It has also helped me so much in diminishing my acne hyperpigmentation and blemishes, while also keeping new ones away. Agreed, I still do get 1 or 2 acne here and there but I truly believe this plays a big part in keeping them away.
  3. Embryolisse moisturizerThis is touted as something that French women use and love. Now, I am not exactly sure about that since I haven’t met any LOL. But, I can tell you this- it is one of THE BEST moisturizers I have used on my skin. It spreads really well, so a little goes a long way. And its price point is on the lower side in terms of luxury moisturizers on Dermstore.

Word of advice: It might be a bit lighter for very dry skin types, so please try it on your skin with a small/travel size first before committing to a full tube.

  1. Bioderma Micellar waterThis one needs no introduction. It is a staple in my nighttime skincare routine when I am removing my makeup. This is the first thing I go in with to remove my makeup and it works SO WELL! I first bought it at Moscow airport when I was there for 6 hours on a layover but I actually bought 2 bottles because it somehow was cheaper in USD (at least I think it was, but then I am not known for my math skills :D) But since then, my skincare shelf is always stocked with a big bottle of this.
  2. Ora Dermaroller

This is somewhat newer to my skincare routine and I only do this twice, maybe thrice a month. This is the at home version of microneedling. I have been wanting to up my skincare tools game and this one caught my eye when I was researching for tools that help in hyperpigmentation. Like I said before, my skin is very prone to acne hyperpigmentation- I am always looking for and researching items that help in fading them. A professional microneedling is something that is on my list to get but since I am light on my wallet these days (medical bills, you see!), I decided to try this out. And after using this for about 4 months, leaving maybe 1 application in the routine- I feel like some of my chin hyperpigmentation might be starting to get a bit lighter. Now, please remember, this process of dermarolling is a lot slower than the professional grade microneedling, so the results are VERY light, but they are there!

I hope you guys will also take a look at these and let me know if you do try any of these products! You can also take a look at 5 beauty products I cannot live without!
