Hi guys! Long time no see, huh! So, we moved into a new apartment! It has been 2 weeks since we have been living here and that is one of the reasons that I have been slightly MIA on here. We are still settling down and unpacking boxes and assembling furniture. Have already been to Ikea thrice and target almost every other day of the last two weeks! So, you can imagine how busy this time has been. But I am really enjoying the new place. Mostly because it has a lot more space than our last one which was a 1-bedroom apartment 🙂 We also have an in-unit washer and dryer which I am very happy about! I am still organizing my closet and oh my god, it is so much work!!
Weather is also starting to feel more fall-ish, which is wonderful, but it has been really gloomy outside and the sun hasn’t come out in like a week, ugh! The only good thing that has come with it are the cute outfits and we all love that, right?!
So, as you all know, I am a petite person. I am actually on the brink of a petite and regular but regular stuff is generally big on me, so I consider myself petite. Glad we have that cleared up. Now, I am someone who has always liked denims and I got on the mom-denim trend only this year. That is because I could never find a good one that will actually look good on my short body! And when I used to see people wearing wide-leg pants or culottes, as much as I liked them, whenever I went to try them out in the store, it looked like I was sweeping the floor with that, haha!
But a few months back, when I was in India, I went to a Mango store. Now, Mango does not have a store in the Us, atleast not that I know of. So, I figured why not go and checkout what they have. Mango is one of the popular clothing stores in India, and their pricing and style is a lot similar to Zara. So, if you like Zara, you will like Mango too. And they do ship in the US, so I really recommend you to check out their website.
Okay, so I went in the store and tried on a bunch of clothes and dresses along with these white wide-leg pants. I went in thinking this is going to be so long on me, but maybe I could get them hemmed if I like it. But no joke, it fit me perfect! You can see they are my perfect length and they have NOT been hemmed! Also, these have pockets, whoooo!!
Also, isn’t this the perfect fall top?! It is mock neck and has elbow sleeves which I find so elegant! This has to be one of my favorite outfits recently. 😀
