It feels so good to be back you guys!! You know how much I love my couch if you follow me on Instagram and I am back on that! Wooooo 😀 As I said in my last post, I am also packing for our Charleston trip and I am very excited for the road trip as well! I have heard that southern states are very beautiful and I am looking forward to it.
I also have to go for some shopping for our trip! I mean, duh! I am also looking forward to Nordstrom’s anniversary sale that’s coming up in July. I already have SO MUCH stuff in my wish list that I want to get my hands on. Some shoes, coats, jackets, sweaters, dresses- so much to get! 😀
I have been hanging out with my best friend a lot and last weekend we did a whole day of just hanging out and food and drinks. It was so much fun! We were actually supposed to do brunch but as it almost always happens, brunch turned into lunch at 2:30 😀 We went to Tavola, that has outdoor seating and live music as the day starts to progress. It was seriously so pretty out and such a beautiful, sunny day. Actually, a little too sunny maybe, haha! We ordered some BLTs and fries. Never not ordering fries! And these drinks- oh so good!!
It was a great time catching up and taking pictures and laughing. I wore my good American ripped denim from Nordstrom and this pink floral bodysuit, which is so cute!!! Oh and also wore these wedges that I got during Nordstrom’s half-yearly sale last month. These are Halogen brand and I absolutely adore these! These are in royal blue color and go so well with casual outfits. Sadly these particular ones are sold out now (no wonder!), but I am linking a few others which I have my eye on as well, because you can never have enough shoes! 🙂
After that, we had a nail appointment. I got both manicure and pedicure and it felt so good just relaxing on their massage chair. It’s half of the reason that I go for my nail appointments, no joke! After we got our nails done, we touched up a little bit, got changed into fancy outfits and headed to the city for a nice night out. I wore this little black number from Nordstrom, which I liked so much that I ordered and went the same day to the store to pick up. It has a scoop neck and goes the same in the back. It also hits me right at my knee, which is what I like with these kinds of dresses.
We first went to a nice rooftop lounge at the Logan hotel in Philadelphia downtown- Assembly. And the city looks gorgeous from there. The lights, cars moving and the buildings- oh so pretty! We had a few drinks there and food- always food! Oh, and I also found out that I LOVE FROSE 😀
After some time, hubby joined us as well and we headed to “Howl at the Moon” nightclub. It’s a fun nightclub with live music and some weird jello shots! 😀
I had such a great day and great weekend. This vacation is on with a great start and I am looking forward to more days like this with my friends and my hubby. This was exactly what I needed! <3
