Happy Weekend guys! So glad that the weekend is here but I know it’s going to be over in a blink 🙁 Oh well, gonna enjoy the 2 days we get, right!
Can we just talk about how it is already August! 4 months until 2018?! Wow!! And my birthday in almost 3 months, YAYY! 🙂
By the way, Nordstrom anniversary sale in only until August 06th and you should probably stock up on anything you are going to need for the fall and winter. I got a ton of stuff, hoping that I won’t like everything, but it didn’t work out like that, HAHA! They have sale on coats & jackets, tops, shoes, everything. Oh, why am I even saying this?! It has been all over the blogging community, DUH!
One of my favorite purchases was this Bardot style stripe top. I got it in a size small and it fits perfectly. Snug but not uncomfortable, and the shoulder doesn’t ride up easily, which is generally a big problem in OTS tops. They also have it a few other colors, but I decided to go with the classis black-and-white stripe. And paired it with a floral mini skirt from express that I got last fall and sadly is sold out now. I loved how the two patterns complemented each other. Oh, but the way, this matte orange-red lipstick from YSL in shade 201, Orange Imagine goes SO WELL with my skin tone! I wear it on any chance I get! 🙂
I got this skirt on my birthday last year and I love the floral pattern. It also has faux-leather piping, which gives it an edgy look with that cut in the front. I remember I wore it on my birthday with a cold-shoulder top, that was in this blog post and these heels and almost 4-5 people stopped me to complement me on my outfit! 🙂
You know, I think I am at a place right now in my shoes closet, where I don’t like flats much. I love shoes or I love sandals that have some height at least. Actually, the saying of “the more the merrier” is quite applicable here, 😀 So, when I saw these heels in Target, I knew I was getting them. And at $30, it was a total steal! Don’t they look perfect with this outfit?!
Oh, and that bag, you are no stranger to it, right? You have seen me carrying it in this and this post, so basically since the day I got them. I love the color so much and it will look perfect all year round!
What did you guys get from the anniversary sale?! I would LOVE to know in the comments down below 🙂
