Okay, alright! I am attempting to be more determined to publish at least 2 blog posts every week. I am going to try it out- 1 at a time. So, June it is! Hoping that I get into the groove of writing more and putting more content out, as I used to do in the summer when I first started my blog. I also feel like I am in a good headspace right now since I just had a nice vacation (be on the lookout for a post on that! I am going to cover everything on Hamptons 🙂 ), and the nice weather also encourages me to be more productive, instead of just lounging on my couch. 😀
P.S.- See below for Outfit details!
This weather also sees a surge in brunches and dinners since you can actually sit out or dress up without the heavy layers. I don’t know about you, but I stop feeling cute after fall because then either you’re looking like a potato or an apple LOL! So, with that in mind, I thought it would be very appropriate to list out my favorite brunch/dinner spots.
Parc, Rittenhouse Square– Out of all the restaurants that we have been to, Parc is easily in our top 3. The décor, vibes, food, ambience- everything is perfect for this European inspired restaurant. It is located in Rittenhouse square, right in front of the park. So, in the summers after a nice brunch on their outside seating, you can just walk over to the park and soak in the sun and relax.
Buddakan– Buddakan is my favorite place to go to if I want Asian food. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will see a 10-ft tall Buddha statue and this statute is visible from almost every table. But their food is absolutely delicious and some of my favorites are their edamame dumplings and their Pad Thai.
Louie Louie– I have been here twice and let me tell you- I love this place. First off, their drinks are DELICIOUS! I once ordered a white cosmopolitan and it had a rose-shaped ice cube in it! Totally recommend that. Also, please try their monkey bread- it is to die for! And the interior- OMG, a bloggers dream 😀 In short, you need to go there, ASAP!!
A Kitchen– This is my go-to place for dinner if I want to feel very sophisticated and posh 😀 Their best part is the extensive wine selection they have and they also tell you which goes best with what you ordered, which is nice! Right next to their restaurant is their bar- A.Bar- which is, again, one of my favorites. It is a small bar kind of place but with city vibes and like I said, sophistication.
Jones– This is the best place for bottomless mimosa, in my opinion. You just get there on time and the champagne and OJ keep coming 😀 I love their décor as well since it’s very mid century, with a big fireplace and stone walls. It is also in the heart of center city, where all the action is 😀
I would mention though, there are a lot more places that I can write about. The Dandelion, The Love, Fare, Talula’s Garden- but let’s keep those for another post 🙂
