Hey hey hey! Back for my May favorite fives : In case you have not been following me on Instagram (which you totally should 😀 ), I had my baby! He was a week overdue and I am going to do a whole another blog post on his birth story, but we are soaking up all the newborn snuggles and are over the moon with love and joy 🙂 Honestly, what a sweet time 🙂
But, that doesn’t mean I am not going to share my favorite 5 products for the month of May, even though it’s the last day of May! With staying at home and pregnant for half of the month and then adjusting to the life with a newborn, I have been loving products that are kind of one-and-done and most of these products are in that category.
Bite Beauty Multistick
I had this in my stash for a few months but I only got around to using this recently. I have the shades Cashew and Almond and I prefer almond a lot more that Cashew. It is a very pretty reddish shade that works great as a blush as well as a lip stain. Also, it is very easy to apply and sets on the skin without any powder. I know these can be used as an eyeshadow as well but I haven’t used them as one.
Lilah B Lip Oil
This is my first Lilah B purchase and I can say that I definitely love it! This lip oil is always in my bag when I am out and about and that says a lot because I am someone who loves hoarding lip balms and lip oils. The shade that I have is b.remarkable and I love the wash of color it gives to my lips. Also, great for at the end of the day when your lips are getting dry and also losing their lipstick (don’t tell me it doesn’t happen with you!).
MUFE Powder Foundation
I saw this product first on YouTube and instantly knew I had to at least try it because the coverage it provided was amazing! And the verdict- it really has amazing coverage. It comes with a sponge type of applicator which I kind of like to use it with. I use it after applying a light coverage stick or liquid foundation and it works great to set and provide a bit more coverage to my skin. I have oily combo skin so if you have dry skin, you might want to try it first before actually committing to it!
Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt Perfume
This perfume!!! OMG it smells heavenly! I had this for more than a year but never really got into it until I got pregnant. And then I used it so much that I soon need to get another bottle, probably a full size. It has a very distinct woody smell (hence the name) without being too overpowering. I have other perfumes for special occasions but I have been reaching for this for everyday errands and I absolutely LOVE this!
Baublebar earrings
This is my newest jewelry obsession. I was on the lookout for a new hoop that would suit my somewhat round face (that actually became complete round in my pregnancy), and then I saw this. I love that it is simple like a hoop but has a twist to it with the hammered details which makes it perfect for everyday plus special occasions. Definitely going to get more of these kinds of earrings!
