Happy Monday! I am back with another Favorite 5 post. Honestly, this post was ready for like 10 days but I was just too lazy (also, tired because pregnant) to publish it. So, here it is on the last day of April. I mean, better late than never, right?! So, let’s dive right in!
Skinceuticals C E Ferulic Acid
I have been using this for at least 6 months now and absolutely love this. And I am only halfway with this bottle. I use this in my morning skincare and I genuinely feel like it has made a lot of difference in my skin’s texture and tone. Like I have mentioned a few times before in various posts, I have blemish prone skin and this has really helped in cleaning up those.
Glossier Concealer
I honestly didn’t believe the hype until I tried this. But I apply it a little bit differently, that is using a dry beauty blender. I have tried using my finger, a brush and a wet beauty blender and it is just too creamy for my creasy under eyes. But a dry beauty blender works perfect. I use it on all the high points of my face to give them a highlight plus my under eyes. I still need to set it with a powder but I like how it doesn’t look cakey or dry.
Lancome Lip Gloss
I got this gloss only a few weeks back but I have been using this everyday. This is the perfect, “my lips but better” color for me. Also, this is not a gloss that stays wet and sticky, instead it kind of dries down but still has that nice sheen that it keeps looking like you just applied gloss. I got it in the shade Beige Sensation.
Primera Clean Berry Lip Mask
I LOVE this lip mask. I had been using Laneige lip mask for the longest time, even before everyone started talking about it. But lately I felt that it wasn’t keeping my lips that hydrated at night as it used to. So, I had been using and trying a bunch of new ones and this one really surprised me! It has a little gritty texture but it works really well at keeping my lips hydrated and moisturized and doesn’t leave a layer on the top of my lips, like a lot of others have a tendency to do. If you are looking for a new lip mask, I would definitely recommend you to try this one out.
Kosas Blush & Highlighter Duo
I have been trying to streamline my morning makeup routine and using a lot more cream products so I can just set all of that in one go. For my blush and highlight, I have been using this Kosas duo and it is the perfect color for cheeks for every day. It is also not very emollient, which I feel messes up my makeup underneath. Also, this highlighter is subtle for everyday and still makes you look glowy ad dewy and isn’t that all the rage right now?! 🙂
