A year older, but not wiser! HAHA, I celebrated my 30thbirthday in November on the day of thanksgiving this year and honestly, it was a bittersweet time for me. You know how when you’re in your early 20s, you make millions plans on what you are going to do with your life, where you’re going to be when you turn 30, what job you’ll be in or what all you will have achieved. I did all that too. And a lot more.
But life doesn’t always turn out to be as perfect as you think it will. You have bumps along the ways and a few years later you are somewhere you never thought you will be.
That said, I am pretty happy with what I have and where I am in my life currently. And to celebrate that and the last 30 years (WOW!), we took a trip to Miami.
Oh Miami! I have been saying this to each and every one and I will say this again, I will move to Miami if I could! Really! The weather is just perfect. When we are freezing our a***s off in no Philly, Miami has 70s-80s F temperature with sun! Oh, I miss Miami!
We mostly decided on just relaxing and having fun and not put much effort or research into really exploring. I know it is not what everyone does, but I just wanted to not think about where to go, what to do and where to eat and instead just relax. And trust me, I felt to refreshed and calm when I got home.
One unfortunate event, that was disappointing and put us in a bad mood for some time was that someone stole my phone, FROM MY BAG! We were out and about, having fun and within 2 minutes, my phone was gone! I did everything I could from switching on “find my iphone” app to calling the customer service and blocking the number and IMEI codes, but we never found it. Finally, I had to get a new phone, which was nice but I did set back my account and savings a little L
But other than that, we had a great time in Miami and I am pretty sure I’ll be going again soon! Below are some of the pictures from our trip. Leave any of your questions in the comments below and I’ll be happy to answer them! 🙂
