Classic White and Black Outfit

Happy Wednesday Y’all!! I have been very much away from my blog and there is a reason for it. I just started my new job which is keeping me busy and am really enjoying learning all the new cool things and meeting so many people. But I hate the part that I am not able to keep up with my blog that I started with such hopes, and which is something I very much enjoy doing. So, I will try to be more consistent with the content here.

And to make that happen, I am coming with a series- Workwear Wednesday! I will post a blog every Wednesday where I will talk about an outfit that is perfect for business casual work atmosphere. I have always loved getting dressed up for work and I feel like once you feel good in what you are wearing, it instantly makes you more confident. And that is so much important for me at work. I mean, I am in meetings most of the time and getting to know so many people, I think that if I look good and presentable, then that is one less thing that I have to worry about.

As for my style, I would say it is more of classic and feminine, but I do sometimes dress a little casual when I don’t have a long day or many meetings. I will be including those outfits as well.

This outfit is so feminine and classic and I would wear something like this probably on a Monday or Tuesday to start the week off on a solid note. This laser cut top from Abercrombie is the perfect top for winters or summers and is a wardrobe staple for work or for going out. They also have this in navy and black, but I chose white because of the soft vibes.

This skirt from Club Monaco is another one of my favorites that I got during their sale in December. At $149, it is on the expensive side, but is currently on 20% SALE and let’s face it, it would go with almost any top/blouse for work.

I always either go with a black or a nude footwear. I do like wearing bright colors sometimes, but I feel like to make any work outfit classic, a neutral shoe is the key. I paired this outfit with my Michael Kors nude heels, which sadly could not find online. But I would be linking a few similar items.

This work bag is an old one from Zara which is not available now, since this was bought in 2016, when I first started working. And I have looked for different bags to buy, but I have always come back to this because of the compartments and its size. It has one zipper compartment, that I keep my laptop in and then in the other 2 side compartment, I keep my daily essentials and a notebook for taking notes during meetings. Let me know if you want to see a “what’s in my work bag” and I would be more than happy to do it! 🙂

This outfit is complete for summers or pair it with a trench coat for winters and you have got yourself a feminine and powerful work outfit!

XO!
